rebuilding a sherman combination transmission and need to locate a counter shaft C0NN7111B. Does any one know where we can locate a new shaft or good used shaft. Mine is not pitting yet, but ir is worn.

I would try Long Lane Tractors at 717-367-8610 or http://www.lltractor.com/default.htm. Ken was able to supply me with the Sherman parts I needed. Of course their inventory will vary.

Your counter shaft is for a four speed Ford transmission , 8n711 . The poster needs a counter shaft for a Sherman three speed which is similar in number conn7118b .
