....about my tractor. My kids got me this book for my birthday recently. I haven't started reading it yet but I'll bet it's a real page turner.

I'm gonna have to get that book!

Many moons ago when we started farming we got a tractor. Caught the deasease, now I try to fix em all and give them a good home!

I have all his tractor books and some have insights on "understanding" women. Very funny.
I have read them all several times. Try to get his book called "Outhouses". It is hilarious.

 i've got a WD, and i never thought of it as being seksy (i guess that's how it needs to be spelled here), but seeing that man's desire for his allis, i will have to stroll out to the pole barn and have another look at mine :)

and a thank u for all the recommendations to read this guy's books. i will be speaking to MeL (michigan E-library) this afternoon, if i can find these books, i will be ordering them thru MeL.

if any of my fellow michiganders are unfamiliar with MeL, get to know him. he kicks butt and takes names. all u need is a valid library card from your local library, and other than rare exceptions because that library doesn't participate (most do), if a book exists in any library in the state and is not a reference book or anything else designated as in-library only, u can order it and MeL will have it delivered to your local library free of charge. pick it up, enjoy it, and then return it to your local libray at no cost. it's a wonderful thing that i have used many times now :)

Glad you reminded me of the author, going to read mine again. "Old Tractors and the Men Who Love Them", "Old Tractors Never Die", Entertaining and easy read, of
course he was a College English professor as I recall. The TV show was, "Postcards from Nebraska".

He doesn't look anything like you Scout!
Except maybe the smile. ;)
I think you need another tractor...

Judging by the book cover I must [i:ca72389911]really[/i:ca72389911] need an AC. I don't get that look on my face when I hug my Ford.

Just knowing you hug your Ford is a bit disturbing! LOL
I sold the last AC I owned last year, so I can't help you there. ;)
I've got a few Farmalls around though...
