'55 had the early pump
Some late model '57 had power steering. Maybe he's looking to build up his muscles.

Could be, or maybe, just to complete the collection.

Mine's a flat foot board 55 with piston pump but I wish it was a power steering 57.

I was born in 1956...no other reason...plus they are a better machine than an N...I have my grandpas 1939 9N and an early 8N...just put it on my list of next in line...If'N I had the cash I'd have a model from every year from '39 thru '69...

If memory serves me right the only difference between '55 & '56 would be the serial number brake."57s had a small sharp kink in the clutch pedal and 8N style step plats. Also the piston hyd pump came in '57 along with the 1 3/8s PTO shaft and housing mounted draw bar and had a Powermaster decal
