Roger Moore, passed away today at 89. he was The Saint on the TV show series and later was the second, or third if you count George Lazenby to play Ian Flemming's James Bond 007. I liked Sean Connery, but Moore added more of a smart a$$ attitude to the role...

I liked Sean Connery, but Roger Moore was my favorite in the role of James Bond. Seems like the more recent actors of the role just don't add to the character as he did. He will be missed.

Not many people remember that he was Beaux Maverick after James Garner went on to bigger and better things. Beaux was Bret and Bart's cousin. I always laughed at he British accent wearing a cowboy hat.

He was James Bond during my formative years, so he was always my favorite.
