I have two of the belt pulleys for N series. They are for 1 1/8 PTO shafts. Other than finding the smaller PTO shaft, is there any way to adapt to the larger size? Can these units be used on Fergusons?

OF........while most modern equipment use 1-3/8 6-spline PTO's, you kenn gitt a "sleeve" that will "up-size" yer 1-1/8 to 1-3/8. Most small nimble tractors like the Ford 8N ...or... Fergy are used fer brush-hoggin'. They need the MANDATORY ORC (over running clutch) otherwize when you clomp yer #12 brogans on the clutch pedal to slow down to go around the corner of the barn, fencepost, lite-pole, it will continue to drive yer tractor into things. ........HTH, Dell, the ORC Safety Preacher
Your 1 1/8" PTO pulleys can be adapted to tractors having the more modern 1 3/8" PTO shaft with the use of a 1 1/8" to 1 3/8" PTO adapter and a spacer needed to provide room for the PTO shaft adapter.
The spacer adapters were once commercially available but I do not believe that they still are. That said, used ones are not difficult to find.

Thank you-I figured that there had to be something to gain space for an adaptor if there was such. Not sure where to look

Below is what I did. Purchased the belt pulley extension and a 1 3/8" X 1 1/8" adapter from Rural King. Go to Rural King and search for item 2681317.

If you were thinking of using the extension like Andy shows with a Dearborn buzz saw it will not work.
