I have an oil leaking from the bell housing. I suppose its the rear seal. I know the lower seal Is in the pan but what about replacing the upper seal. Do you have to pull the motor and remove the crank or can it be put in with just the pan removed and if so is there a special way to install it. thanks norm

Pinball......uh, you do know there are 2-sources of leaks fer yer tranny bell housing, don't you? The 2-part engine rope seal and the tranny input shaft seal. Ittza been my experience, the rope seals seldom go bad after running in ...but... the tranny input shaft seal will leak specially iff'n you overfill the 5-gals of hydro-tranny oil. (try 4-1/2 gals, won't hurt nuttin)........oily Dell
