What do you call that L shaped electrical connector that is a press fit over the stud on the coil of a 9N front mount? Mine is original and on its last legs. I'm down to the bitter end of wire connected to it. Also are they available?

doggie.......uh? what do you call it? terminal? Common automotive electrical part.......HTH, electrical Dell

why not just use a ring terminal instead? the only advantage i can i can think of with a spark plug style connector is if u need to disconnect the thing frequently.

yup, good idea but not all coils have threaded studs

Me too! I've never seen a front mount coil without a threaded stud.
The round can automotive style, sure. Lots of those.

Never too old to learn something new I guess.
I stopped into a local chain car parts store today, not my normal
car parts store. The young guy running the counter had a few buddies
in the back room just shooting the breeze. I was the only customer.

Seems one of the guys in the back room was kind of ticked that none
of the three places he had quit with no notice would hire him back.

Counter guy was intelligent enough to explain it to him.
"It's like, if you text your ex-girlfriend and they answer with
'who is this?', you know they have deleted your number.
Just move on." LOL

Bullet connectors are usually straight . i did not look very long for a 90 degree connector , but found this for $4.99 shipped . Your local parts store may have a replacement sending unit or coil wiring harness wire . Pretty common on 60 - early 70's Fords .
