8n hydraulic pump relief valve

Bought a new relief valve from YT. The spring on the new valve was stretched out to about an inch from the main body of the valve. Looks
like that would be hard for the end piece to line up with the valve when installed. All the pictures of ones for sale did not look that way. The end
piece was inside the tube on the valve. Just wondered if the one I bought was ok before I put it in or I should get a different one? Too much of
a pain to have to do it again.

Randy the replacement pressure relief valve for a 8N should look like this one.You may have one for a NAA-Jubilee that one is by itself and is a different animal. Its hard to tell without a picture of the one you have.

That is the one I have except the spring was stretched out farther. Came that way in the package and the valve itself looked new, but had a few rust speckles on it. Got to wonder about after market parts sometimes.

Probably not a problem. Just FYI, the part you are looking at is a check valve. The relief valve is inside the left portion & not visible.
