Here it is "hiding" in the back of my pickup.

" "hiding" in the back of my pickup."
YEAH RIGHT!!

SO,......while I was here, just slaving my butt off,.....you are just out joy-riding, and stealing stuff from the neighbors!!!!

That thing, should work nice behing the cab tractor!!!
A little hammering out the bends, and a nice shiney new paint job...zip-zop,......yer road is clear of the 'Global Warming' crud!!!

"Snow thrower?"

Yes sir. You, JMOR, souNdguy, Hobo, et al. would have
no use for one but I think it will come in handy. :)

"now ya did it. you will never see snow again."

That would not break my heart in the least.
Unless the Michigan weather replaced it with ice.
Which does seem to happen every now and then.
In which case, the snowblower won't do me any good anyway. ;)

It was a nice ride Gary. Hour and a half each way.
Not sure I'd call them neighbors geographically, but
great neighborly folks to talk to and buy from!

It will go on the back of the cab tractor.
Reverse is too fast in the others I think.

Oh, and don't give me that slaving my butt off stuff.
You scratched that off with your own fingernails!

Last I saw they were calling for 1 to 3" tomorrow.. By after noon it will be in the 40's with a bright sun. It must have skeered the state toward the end of the week they were painting the roads white with salt brine

I enjoy a few days snowed in don't need a snow remover :D

I appreciate you spending your hard earned money to make sure we get no more snow this year. :D Kinda like my neighbor spending hours fixing and hooking up his generator so that power would be restored on our street just before he got a chance to actually use it earlier this week.

I had an ARPS snowblower. It worked good but on my gravel driveway it throws the gravel pretty far on the lawn even with the skid shoes set high. And oh my stiff neck.
Didn't get that much snow so sold it last year. That said we're expecting 1 to 2 feet on tuesday so maybe I should have kept it.
Good luck with yours. I'm sure in your area you'll make good use of it.

That does seem to be the way it works Scout!
I'm hoping next year I'll paint it up nice so we'll get no snow.
The next year I'll actually hook it up, so no snow.
Not sure how many years I can get away with that plan... ;)

I was a bit worried about the driveway too Kirk.
I have crushed asphalt in mine.
My plan is to use it when we get too much snow for a blade
or the wind drifts it too deep to use the blade.
The rest of the time I'll use the front blade and the blower
will be ballast. We'll see if it works out that way.

A couple inches, blade. If we were getting a couple feet I might
have to hook it up earlier than planned and ruin my keep-away plan!

I drove an hour and a half each way for this one Ultradog.
Seller had put new bearings and chain in it, had it working
real nice, then discovered... want to guess?
His reverse gear was too fast so he really couldn't use it.
Pretty sure I could triple my money on it if I wanted.

I hooked it to the back of an 8N today just to move it around
in the barn. Felt like I had an 8N with one-finger power steering.
It did lift it and move it fine, but I won't try running it with one.

I like blowing the snow much better than plowing it. I like having almost no snow banks. Yes, reverse can be a little fast, but my 860 powers through the snow pretty good.

a couple of inches and i'm not even engaging 4WD on the truck, let alone bringing a tractor out :)

i hope i'm not jinxing myself here, forecast has been upgraded to 2 to 3 inches.

If you can put it on something with live PTO it would be better.
This way you can clear the shoot when the tractor stops. Also
don't know if yours has something to rotate the shoot from the
seat but if you could rig something up it may help. Mine was old
and you basically had to get off the tractor. Also if you're going
to tie up one tractor for heavy snow removal I thought about
reversing the tires for better traction since you'll be driving in
reverse anyway. Post some action photos when you get into the
heavy stuff.
