I don't know how long this pinion had been like this . I used it for 7 - 8 years or more ?

I recon they are all getting everything fix now .

I have quite a few of those too. None broke that I know of.
Good luck with your project there!

Two had chipped pinions with no damage to the ring gear . As bad as they are I would have counted on the ring getting chewed up .

When ( if ) I get them going I will be selling one or two to help pay for the 3000 3 cylinder diesel motor rebuild . I have been spoiled to the prices on these N's parts , new and used .

A little voice in my head is saying part them out... They must fetch a good price your way if you gonna make money putting them back together...

Your suppose to make money on labor ? what of this do you speak ( in my Yoda voice )

I have a few relatives that would pay fair money for a good product . I will be glad to sell all of the extra parts once I know that I will no longer need them .

Was ir making any noise?

No . I had a Sherman over / under and would drive it 1/2 mile on the pavement in 4th & OD with no noises .
