Cam gear lockplate question

So all of the suppliers who sell the cam gears don't have the lockplate that locks the cam bolts what do you guys use red Loctite or what. Both
my Corvettes regularly turn over 6,000 rpm without a lockplate using just a drop or two of Loctite and I have never had a problem but I would
like to use the lockplate if I can find one. Any suggestions?

I noticed some of the ones for sale ( speedway ) did not have the tangs for the thrust washer . I believe I have read that the thrust washer is not really needed .

I just bought some used axle shims and transmission shims so I would have a good supply of varied thickness shims . With the combined shipping I purchased some oil slingers , thrust washers , and lock plates . I noticed some of the lock tabs cracking at the bend so purchasing a new one would probably be the best bet .
