Not that I need another project cause I already have enough to last a lifetime. If it was closer then I might scoop it up. For $1300 I don't think you can go wrong.

I it a funk? care to voice an opinion on how much to rebuild the engine?

I had a t bucket with a '50 Merc 8CM flatty V8 years ago. Long story short...broke it drag racing...I mean driving to work one day. Couldnt afford to rebuild it and ended up putting a completely different engine in it.
BTW...that's a passenger car '49-'53 V8 if the heads are correct.
