I recently bought an 8N tractor and then a short time later a Ford 501 Rear Attached Mower. My parts manual for the mower lists, under accessories, a "149170 Transport Lock Assembly". Anybody know where to get one of these?

I just cut a notch in a couple of pieces of flat stock and welded them to a piece of 3/4" pipe.

Probably worth mentioning that there are occasional reports of transport locks cracking trumpets. The lock does concentrate a lot of weight on a small spot. Doesn't stop me from using mine, but it is probably good practice not to drive fast on bumpy or furrowed ground, where the implement can get bouncing up and down, and the lock hammering the trumpet.
