I've had a lot of different kinds of oil recommended for my 8n lift transmission and rear end what is correct?

Ford said to use a mild EP gear oil. In today's world they come in a variety of forms most of which will work acceptably - some better than others.....

ok WHICH IS THE "BETTER ONES" --dont bother listing Tractor supply--they
are too high on everything..

I was referring to formulations not brands. I prefer a UTTF over a conventional SAE 80W90 gear oil because it is a better performing hydraulic oil but either will work acceptably.

I use NAPA 80W90 gear oil.
