8N parts tractor followed me home

Late 50, side mount, has a crack in the block that leaks antifreeze.
I figured there were quite a few parts left that I could use though.

Royse,It looks like you have some great parts there like a Hupp Dual-Drive transmission ,sought after hard to find 16"front rims and tires for a 9N,2N,good rear tires and rims.Lots of other good parts.Did you get a good deal!

I thought someone would confirm that was a Hupp.
Thanks Den. It shifts through the ranges, that's all I know.
Don't have a clue what I'll do with it yet.

The front rims and hubs are 9N/2N, not the car rims.
Front tires are in great shape too, although one tube leaks.

Recently new, aftermarket radius rods; looks to be a
new aftermarket radiator; newly rebuilt starter with
a new bendix according to the seller. Nice guy to boot!

One rear rim is a 6 loop, the other is a hat rim that's
rusty on the box portion but not around the valve stem.
Rear tires are a little weather checked, but not too bad.
Both are holding air so they'll work for a while anyways.

It was a nice, sunny day here in Michigan.
What better way to spend the afternoon? :)

Royse,Those front rims like that are really hard to find,I looked and looked for some 16" rims at one time for my 43"2N and never did find any.I finally had to remove the centers from my rusty rims and replace them with some like new 16" rims from a couple of 40s Dodges out of the trunks from a friend of mine's scrap yard that he had saved back. They were Kelsey Hayes rims just like what ford used.

you know what he will do with it. Remember Crispy ? Stalled out on my 1950 8N. Kind of foundered on tractors right now.

Cool dog! I see a hat rim on right side rear but do fronts have the 16" 9N style??? I'd be interested in the generator but I don't see it.

No generator on it Tim, I think it was converted to 12V.
I may have an 8N generator out here on the shelf.
Do not have a spare side mount genny bracket though.

"rebuilt that baby, weld the block if it is external."

I wish I could save them all, but its not really feasible.
I have another 8N project this spring/summer, which includes
making two running tractors out of what I have on hand.
One to be pretty and one to sell.
Also have a 23HP Kawasaki twin in the machine shop now.
It will need to go back on the ZTR this spring.
Then a 3000 and a 335 after those projects.

This one would take too long to bring back I'm afraid.
There are some parts on it I need for my other 8N project.
The rest will probably get sold as parts to help defer costs.
Might figure out a way to keep that Hupp though...

What about that hood. Mine is rusted out exactly where yours is. What are you going to do with it?

Not sure what I'll do with the hood cowdog, I'll probably compare
the ones I have, fix the best one and use the worst for parts.
They all seem to rust out in about the same spots.
