Water pump issues

JB weld should not even come up in this conversation.

you have a few options here, depending if the corner is just busted out, or if busted out and threads stripped.

The picture looks to me like the threads ARE stripped out.

you could:

braze and build up the corner, grind flush and true, then drill and tap the hole for some standard next size up stud coarse
thread. then buy a double ended threaded stud that has one end as that larger size, and the other end as the oem size.

This MAY be the easiest fix, depending on your skills.

Next, and similar, drill the hole out and tap for a cast iron pipe plug.. choose a plug larger than the oem fastener.

seat the plug, braze up... grind the plug head off as you true up the surface. drill the center of that plug for the OEM
thread size of the original fastener, and use that original fastener.

Both are viable fixes...block decks sometimes get repaired with the second option and do pretty good.

Depending on how much meat there was back in the casting, you might just be able to drill and tap deeper oem threads install a
longer stud, then braze up..

depends.

Thanks I'll try to braze it up if the liquid metal teflon tape don't work since I've already started I was able to tap it with a 5/16 18 thread bolt with teflon tape sealed the hole up pretty tight then put liquid metal bond over the area I hope that works but if not I'll have to fix it right :/

I'd look for that to leak when temps came up and you were not paying attention, thus let engine overheat and ruin.

That's what metal glue does for/to you.
