Thanks for the Howard reply. You said 800 to 1000 on a HRG in your area,at that price I could save a bunch and ship it here for 2 or 3 and have money leftover. They must be plentiful in your area? Do you see like 1 or 2 a week, month or 1 or 2 a year? I have been lead to think they are hard to find.Or whould I be as well off finding a Sherman,,, but I have learned that the Shermans wont do the tiller work due to shaft and tractor speed variations Let me know I have some time before its a must deal. Thanks again

Here is what they look like out of the tractor. Make sure you get all the pieces you need to install. I run across 2 or 3 a year. They are getting harder to sell. Not many guys are wanting them. A friend had one in an 8n in south jersey last year and he was asking $1500 or $1600 for the whole tractor with the howard and I know it sat for quite a while.
With the price of the old n tractors being so cheap around here I don't know if they're even worth pulling them. I have a short list of guys who want. Then when you pull one you get a song and dance from most of the guys who "really wanted one".
I haven't seen one sell on ebay for $1600 for many years but you know how that goes you only need 2 people who want it to get in a bidding war.
I hate shipping them, always on needles and pins until I hear they arrived safely. I box and pack them the best I can and have shipped them down south, thru out the northeast and as far west as Ohio so far without a problem, knock wood.
If the guy you know that has one puts it on ebay there are fees he will paid and he will have to box and ship it. That has to be worth some kind of discount for local pickup.
If you want to send me your info my email is open. When I run across another one I can let you know.
