'52 8N Right Side Drag Link Tube

I ordered a right rear drag link end (YT Part No: NAA33271A) for my '52 8N and when I got it today, it is definitely not correct for the tube. My tube is ~28" long, and the tubes sold here are 32 3/4" and 34 1/2", so I am scratching my bald head and wondering what's up. The new end is 4 1/4" long, and the one on my tractor is ~8-10". Any one have ideas other than buy a new tube & front link end? *sigh* It's always something with these old things... but it wouldn't be a challenge, and it wouldn't be fun

I've seen a few different styles of drag links on N's.
Including some home made angle iron ones.
The key is to get the overall length correct.
The longer drag link and shorter end may work out
the same overall. I have not purchased new ones.

Thanks. Yeah, these probably came off some old soldier in the back field. Worst case is whole new assembly... :?

Just replaced both rear drag links on my late51 8n ,they are shorter than the original and I had to replace both drag link tubes with 32/5/8 long ones. got them here at yesterdays and work great. I thought about cutting and welding a extension but decided to go with the new ones.

actually the original rear drag links threaded shaft are longer than the replacement ones. probably changed at some time during the production years. the long originals are not available there for the drag link tubes need to be extended
