looking for an engine

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a good running front mount engine anywhere from Chicago west to the Northern IL? Iowa border. I would go north into Wisconsin and even South in Illinois. Prefer a long block but will consider others. Main thing is that it is usable with good pressure, no smokers or mosquito repellers. I also have lots of parts for possible trades. Have a very nice ROPS for an N I would be willing to trade. If you have one that you have personal knowledge of it's running condition and are willing to sell please shoot me an email on this site. There is a used farm equipment dealer on RT 52 on the south side of Amboy IL. that has been dealing in the Ford 8N's for a long time. He might have a motor you need or knows of where one is. It might be cheaper to rebuild a motor than taking a chance on one you can buy. I just did a total rebuild on one I own and it cost me close to 2,000. This is high for a reason. I had a machine shop that builds pulling tractors and trucks do the build for me. It is now still a side mount dissy with close to 40HP. The block was decked and CCed as was the head. The crank, pistons, and rods were all balanced, and pistons an rods was new, and the only things that were not replaced.
The old tractor runs better than some of the new compacts that friends have.
