Tractor Boomer Points

For those of you who haul tractors on a regular basis, whether it be for work, pulls or shows, what have you added to your tractor for boomer points, especially on narrow fronts? I have seen people add grab hooks and/or clevis' to the frame in various manners but can't for the life of me remember how they did it. Pictures are worth 1000 words!

A couple of mine.

I think it must be regional or industry specific slang for tie down points since some people call load binders boomers for some reason I never understood.

"Brain fart: couldn't get "tie down points" to come out from hiding between my ears this morning."

No worries CF, some wise old man once said "it's a small minded man that can't learn different words for the same thing".
Or something like that. He might have been talking about the spelling of the same words.
I don't remember for sure, but the point still applies. ;)

Before I get my head bitten off, yes, correct terminology does help,
especially when trying to help diagnose a problem long distance.

My Allis C narrow front had a clevis mounted mid-way under the belly.
That only worked well if you either hooked two chains to it and then to
each corner of the trailer or ran one through it and twisted it several times.
Otherwise the front end could still vibrate side-to-side on the trailer.

OHHHH I understand now we just wrap a 4 inch nylon strap around the rear axles and somewhere around the front end and let it go. For what is s worth be careful with the John Deere tricycle types A, B, MT and others my buddy tied his down around the front tricycle and it bounced around on the trailer and it broke the steering gear. Now he uses a 4 inch nylon strap across the frame rails. I don't like chains unless I have to they gouge the tractor up bouncing down the road

Laws vary by state. Not allowed here legally.
But, I still see guys doing it. I hope they have good insurance.

ohhh, not what i was expecting. i saw the thread title and i thought this was about boomer esiason and a new rural franchise of grand theft auto.

For the narrow front tractors I see a lot of people bolt chain hooks to the frame and use the axle straps that wrap around the axles to act as adapters for the chain hook to tie down strap conversion. If you already have 4 axle straps, you don't have any additional cost beyond the hooks.
