Hi all!
I just built a boom for my 8n . I had most everything nere to build it. total cost was 8 bucks. i need to weld a few braces and a couple gussets and a midway hook for heavier loads. i used it today to move my scraper blade to the shed. i like it a ton. i can see it getting used quite often around here. ken

I say 68 Mustang and the fin look on the back is caused by the cover being pulled to the right, just a guess,

Cool beans! I always use stabilizer bars with my boom. It just make sit easier to handle the load when it isn't swaying back and forth.

I use mine to pull engines. It's so handy. I let the lift all the way down so it never settles and use the top link to raise and lower it to mate it to the
transmission. I never use it to lift much of anything anymore, but was sure glad to think of that one when the engine had to come out of a grain
truck.

Nice work. I use stabilizer bars as others mentioned. Also use a chain instead of a top link.

I have noticed that some folks are using top links that are angled down a bit when the lift is all the way down. For maximum travel (lift) I believe you want the top link or chain to be parallel to the ground when the lift is all the way down.

67 Charger :D I had a gold one the rear seats folded down a panel tween the trunk and rear seat folded down it make for one ell of a bed

I raced it on week ends it would run dial end every time. 1973 it won the money every week end (bracket racing) until they ran me off by changing top money bracket you had to run 11 sec are faster. Home cooking the strips son was use to tote'N the money home.

I traded it for 38 pistol
