Got A little work done on my '43 2N logging winch tractor today. Changed out the rear rotten 32" rims with other 28" rim/tires I had and change out the front
hub/rim/tires with one off a 1937 ford deluxe car. Picked up the hubcaps at a swap meet last year.

Looks good Kirk. My 2N had those same rims. Sans hubcaps.
Whoever put them on did not use the car hubs though, they
drilled extra holes in the 2N hubs for new studs. the bolt
flanges on the rims bent to match the contour of the hubs.
Never did seem quite like the right way to go, but it worked.

If you look at another set I have you can see that the hubs look just like the 9n/2n. BUT if you just have the rims they will not bolt up to a 9n/2n hub. the lug bolt holes will not line up. You must use the hubs from the ford deluxe. As in Royse case you can move the rim on your 9n/2n hub and drill new holes. if you have the hub/rim it's an easy swap direct fit.

I bought my 2n with them on. they had the brake drum on them ,that I had lathed off, to make them look the same as regular hubs. One still had the hub cap and beauty ring (which I still have) and still haven't fond a mate for the other side. I put 6:00x16 6 ply from my junk JD-45 self propelled combine on them and still have the car tires that come with it. I run a Dearborn J-1 bulldozer blade on it, which dig in okay for turning and support. Most people that ran a front loader, made this rim change.

The ones on the tractor has brake drums cut off my other set has the brake drum still on. They don't hit the spindle housing so it's no big deal. I heard of guys loading them with concrete for added weight.
