MM --M 5 DIESEL---RADIATOR---

IF I need to get a new radiator for this MM-M5 1960-61 tractor---is it possible to get one and will it be very expensive. Appreciate any info. you folks can share.....

Have used one other wise get it repaired or recored.

Did you find the actual leak?

There are places around that can generally fix them.

But part of the trick is knowing when to repair it vs find another.

I had my old jd4840 radiator repaired a couple of times until I decided to try another guy that came highly recommended. That old pro took one look at my previously repaired radiator and said it was never going to hold because the top tank wasn?t repairable and showed me where the weak points of design and build were.

We did it his way - and I never had anymore problems.

But that old fellow really knew his stuff. He?d repair anything from heater cores out of a car up to giant oil field radiators bigger than a barn door.
