I have a Minneapolis Moline tractor, narrow two wheels in front, and 4 cylinder. this is really all I know of it.

How can I identify it so I can list it to find it a new home?

1. Post a picture

2. Look for tractor model / serial number tag on right side of tractor slightly behind and below belt pulley

Do a google image search and find one that looks like yours. Getting the serial numbers will determine the exact year it was built.

Thanks for the help!

I'm at sea until the end of the month for work. Once I get home I'll be able to get the serial number and pictures.

ZTUs were made from about 1937 to about 1947. My guess would be a fairly early year, too. since it is on cut-off steel wheels.

Thanks,

Kind of fun information, almost like a detective.

With good tires a new battery and running with a woods mower, what is a ZTU worth?

I need to find it a good home!

David

Value depends on a lot of variables. Location and condition probably the biggest 2. Tires often cost as much as the tractor is worth so that is a big factor.

I would guess $1500-2500 looking at that picture and condition stated. More or less is quite possible too depending on where you are and closer inspection. A ZTU isn't usually a high $ one cause there are many around.
