Hi All -

I found these two receipts a while back from 1926. They are from a farmer right near my grandpa's place near Lubbock.

My great grandpa bought 9 sections of farm and ranch land there in 1914, so he'd been there 12 years by the time this neighbor was buying this farm equipment.

I thought you might like seeing the prices back in the day! I wish they'd had a tractor or two on this receipt as well!

I don't know for sure what year this plow was made, but as far as I can tell, this would be similar to what was listed above on the receipt:

Thanks, that was a nice read. I have some cancelled checks from my Grandfather 1940-1941.
Most of them were for under 2 dollars, one was for 19 and change! That had to have been
a large purchase, hardware store.
