Hydraulic oil, not the question of what type!!

What brand of universal/ trans hydraulic fluid do you guys run?
I'm not specifically talking in your MM's either.

I have been using the $ 17 / 5 gallon 303 oil from our local Rural king but want to upgrade to something better.
I'm not interested in Case Hy-tran or JD HYGUARD. My machines and equipment do not have power shift or CVT transmissions.

I'm looking for a good brand that I can use an not worry about like I do with the RKO 303 stuff.

How about the Travel or Shell brands of HY - trans oil that TSC sells?

For my 8N Ford and John Deere 4010 I look for specs that include:
JOHN DEERE JDM J20C
FORD NEW HOLLAND M2C134D, C, B, A

My UB and 4Star MM had Dexron in the hydraulics when I got them so stayed with Dexron III in them

I have been using MAG 1 Universal Tractor Trans/Hyd. Fluid. Get it at local auto parts store. Excellent quality oil at a reasonable price. Made by Warren Oil who makes a lot of OEM oils. My last 5 gal. was $43.60. MUCH better than 303 oil!

Don't remember the number but I use a marathon oil in everything. I only have one tractor that has wet brakes but things get hooked to each other so I figured I better have decent oil. It is a hytran type oil.

I have been using Carquest 303 in the Molines and Carquest Premium in my IH, they have it on sale from time to time, usually under $30 for a 5 gallon bucket of 303.

The $17 303 hyd oil Rural King sells is Cam2 brand that's not recommended for tractors newer than 1974.
I've used is in my older tractors with no side effects that I'm aware of.
Rural King's Cam2 J20-C is their premium hyd oil for newer model equipment and cost $38 per 5 gallon bucket, claims to meet the specs of the newer tractor hyd fluids, NH Ambra, JD Hi-Gard, Case Hy-Trans Ultra, Kubota UDT, ect.
I use this oil in my 2006 skid steer, 89 model 6610 and will be switching my other tractors over to this oil as well.

Although J20-C is double the cost of 303 it still half the cost of dealer oil.

TSC claims their Traveler Premium Universal Tractor Hyd Oil is compatible but I've never used it.

Hydraulic oil, not the question of what type!!
