I would like to know if I can put an electronic ignition on my
Jetstar 2. It has a Delco-Remy 1111898 distributor. Thanks for
any info

Yes

This is what I have used in a 4 Star which is same engine. Note that this is for negative ground.

Pertronix also advises to use non metallic plug wires

Pertronix Ignitor 1143 Delco 4 cyl CCW rotation 12 Volt Neg ground 4 Star

The 2 is positive ground

Or simply convert it to negative ground

I would convert it to negative ground. All you need to do is switch the wires on the coil and ammeter and polarize the generator after you hook up the batteries. Neg ground makes it easier to convert to an alternator at a later date if you want to without damaging the ignition module.
