I just got back from the MM Winter convention in Charles City, Iowa. A pretty dedicated group there. It was quite well attended today despite about a foot of heavy, wet snow in the area that made travel tough. They had a good session yesterday with several former employees of MM discussing their jobs. It is rather sad, however how the formerly huge factories in Minneapolis and Charles City were shut down and dismantled. Nothing left of them. Charles City lost a good chunk of its population when the closing happened in 1993. We really need to make more things in this country.
