made a trip to the city today for welder parts and thought what the hec I would stop at agco and see what I could get for the mm m5. I had taken off the old rotten rad hoses (original I think) threw them in the truck, stopped at agco at the parts counter and gave the girl the numbers for my m5, she fired up the computer, said no problem, all 3 rad hoses will be here next week!! i'm thinking sweet! so I asked her for the o rings and seals for the power steering, both sides, she looks on the computer, no problem be here next week!! sweet. asked about a new steering wheel, no problem, massey and mm both used the same wheel. the parts girl told me it was easier for her to get mm parts than allis chalmers (their brand?) it's sure going to make getting miss mine already for spring a lot easier :D

ya it appears the parts are available. i stopped at pentagon in westlock and ordered a manifiold gasket for the U. couple days and had it from regina. kinda suprised me.

me too rustred, stopped at now agco (used to be selmac sales on the yellowhead) by stony and laura at the parts counter could get everything I asked for, surprised me too  if you need any mm parts red stop in and see laura, pretty sharp parts lady (and cute too)

(quoted from post at 21:22:44 03/23/18) Ive dealt with Laura too. Very good to deal
with, very patient!
and she knows what she's doing on the computer, brought my parts manual in and showed her the parts I wanted and about 2 or 3 clicks of the computer had the same page up, ordered all 3 hoses for the rad and the O-rings and seals for the leaking power steering cylinder. the hoses and seal kits $106.00 not to bad.

Over the years I have gotten numerous Moline parts from my local Agco dealer. I always check with them first. It's surprising what they can still get.

(quoted from post at 07:00:38 03/24/18) Have you ever tried Lubbock Gasket? When I had the GVI they had about any gasket or seal a MM needed, also make custom head gaskets and a lot of other stuff.
thanks for the heads up T.F. I will check them out. working on these older tractors a guy needs every source he can get his hands on. thanks again T.F.

T.F. just checked out Lubbock gaskets, added them to my favorites, not only gaskets but heads, water pumps, kits and bearings thank you again for the heads up.

Have some head gaskets in stock as well as rings, pistons etc. Alot came from a club in
Edmonton. I don't buy anything from Agco. Don't have most parts and priced out of this
world if they do.

I'm pretty sure there are more Moline parts available now from Agco than there was 20 years ago. Very few gaskets or special hoses are obsolete. I always order engine gasket sets from Napa, and all the other gaskets from Agco. Bearings and seals can be interchanged and bought cheaper elsewhere.
