Hello, I'm looking for a little help trying to identify what is decaled as MM GB. Since the serial number tag is missing, I'm not sure if it is a GB or some other MM "G" model tractor. My tractor is set up with the following attributes which I'm hoping might help positively identify it. An approximate year of manufacture would be interesting too. 18.4x34 rear and 7.50x18 front tires, straight not curved front axle, clam shell fenders, 403 gas engine, rear drum brakes at the wheels and no PTO or belt pulley option

Yes, I agree the drum brakes predates
the GB. GTB generally came with
16.9x38 rears. You have a G(GTB) with
larger tires.

If the engine still has a serial number tag post it. We can tell you the year from that number. Sounds like a GTB one way or the other.

Thanks for the help everyone! I thought something might not be right with the GB labeling of this tractor. Too many things were made differently from what I was seeing in the parts book. The tractor does have an engine serial number tag. Here is that information. Engine - model 403A serial number 02001373

I thought all the 49-50s and some 51s had the date in the middle of the s/n. Never say never or always with MM.
