MM Twin City Stationary engine

Still trying to come up with a book for this MM 283 Twin City engine. Helping an Amish neighbor overhaul this engine and need specs. Any one know what tractor would have had this engine?

U. If it is twin city era, will be
early U with straight or solid block
engine. Most books I have seen do not
have the early model covered. Much
specs will be about the same . Just
dealing with 1 block and head instead
of 2

Serial tag? Have 283 powerplant off a winch. If it has TC on it is is a KEA motor.

Seen a 283 a4 power unit on a auction not sure if it was the correct pictures for it cuz it showed a 6 cylinder L.P. engine. Didn't have pics of the serial number tag. Did MM make such a thing?
