I have a Moline G-750 diesel that I have farmed with for several years. however it has spent its whole life in oliver paint with 1655 badges on it, this has made for several interesting conversations with many different avid collecters that are able to spot the difference. I have since retired the tractor and am considering selling it but I don't know what its worth or where to list it. Any advice would be wonderful.

I'm interested in buying the G750. I have an original with a year round cab that was my dad's before he was taken in an accident and I would like to put this side by side with my G750, I think it would be a neat setup[/quote I would like to sell the tractor anyone that wants to have a look at it is more than welcome and I would be glad to show all of the rights and wrongs of it.]

I dont know the tag just says white equipment company. Is there any other way to find out? A collecter friend of mine told me I could get a copy of the build card in charles city IA. That would help me close the gap on were and when this MM became a oliver. I know were it has been for for almost thirty years and its always been an oliver.

I was told that white would take G-750s that did not sell and paint them green and sell them as 1655s. it has the Minnie grill and anywhere that there is a scratch its yellow paint underneath.

We ordered a White American 80 in 1992 when White was being sold to Agco, they never built all that were ordered and they located one in dealer stock like we ordered except it is Oliver Green, White would have repainted it MM yellow or they would take $600 off the price, it is still green and mud, so it's not unreasonable that they would repaint them to sell them.

I was just wondering why it is painted like the Oliver if it is really a MM G 750. Was someone ashamed of the MM colors and painted it or is it a factory fluke, one of those early ones that they hadn't made up their mind what color it should yet be?

Worth more than a 1655 in its normal paint. It starts with a very legible original ID plate. At the high end with professional paint, no glaring mechanical issues, no leaks, no strange noises, smooth running engine with no oil usage or coolant loss, excellent tires I've seen them advertised for around 20,000 dollars. I don't know how often the seller gets that much or close to it. I don't know if such a unit has sold through an auction service that you could check Tractor House under the auction price filter for that tractor. Call a respected auction service in your area or call one of the big outfits such as Aumann, Mecum, etc..and see what they say. Can you live with an auctioneer taking a cut as a commission to sell it for you? You can sell on Craigslist or your area farm paper but then you have to deal with people trying to beat you down on a price. Do you like dealing with people in one on one negotiations?
