Finally got back to working on priming the G1000 yesterday. Drained the old fuel out- only had 12 gal in it-, blew out the line, and put 30 gal fresh fuel in it. Started spraying fuel out of the lines after only a couple seconds of cranking. Tightened the lines and it fired right up. Runs like a champ. Today I have to braze two small cracks on top of the radiator tank and I can move on to the job of mounting the loader on it. I should have checked earlier but I found out it didn't have thermostats in it. What size radiator cap should it have? it has a 9# on it now. I thought I'd start new with that too, but I'm a little paranoid that that might not be the right one. I have a new 13# one but would that be to much? I'll post pics of it as soon as I back it out of the shop, hopefully maybe today.
