Im going to look at a 706 any tell tale signs of worn out or abuse on the front wheel drive system?

could jack up the front wheels and turn and feel and listen. could check pinion backlash by turning driveshaft lightly back and forth. open drain plug check for filings, and oil color.

I didn't look at it yet it may be a week or 2 up to the
owner when I can view...froze down..

Sounds great good. Jack up the front and roll the wheels. Mine are rough and in need of bearings and races. Not cheap bearings either...
