G1000 Metal Card

This is an update to my post on 2/17/18. This is a picture of the Metal (probably Brass)Card that a friend in Canada received when He bought a new G1000 MM about 1967. He still has the Card beautifully preserved. He also still have the G1000. The Card says you are now a member of the G1000 club. It has a signiture on it. Is this the President of MM at the time? No one seems to know anything about these. Does anyone else have one or ever seen one or ever heard of them? Maybe it was a local thing. Let us know.

I sold this photo on eBay about a year ago. Same signature, was the President at the time. Thought the photo had been sent to the dealers participating.

Checked with fellow collector in Sask. He's been around a long time in MM world and he has never seen one.

Can you make out signature? It would have bee sold out of the Regina MM branch. I have all memos sent out of Regina to dealers from 1962-66. Also have all dealers listing in Western Canada. They have all the signatures on each memo. Wondering if it was done only here or in US.

Signature on card matches that on photo, both apparently of William F. Foss, then President of MM.
