Need help with hydraulic pressure test

With spring approaching I have been thinking of the non existent power steering on my G706. Where would I connect a pressure gauge? At the pump one port goes to the steering cylinder and the other back to the valve bodies for the rear implement couplers.

I would think if you start at the input to the power steering cylinder, see what you have there, and then work your way back? do's the manual say what pressure the system runs at? i'm sure someone here will know what it should be.

For simplicity sake, I would start by
checking the pressure in one of the
remotes. If you have good pressure there
you know the pump is working right.

Then you would need to check at the supply
to the steering cylinder. If you have a
gauge and shut off valve in the steering
supply, close the shut off and you should
build pressure. If not the flow divider is
at fault. If you do, watch the pressure
gauge as you turn the wheels. Should see
pressure rise as the valve shifts.
