If I remember correctly, we were told by the MM company people to grind the rear ends of the PTO clutch fingers at about a 45 degree angle. This came about because several of the JetStar2, JetStar3 and U302's had the weights hit the ends of the PTO clutch fingers, breaking the weights off. The weights then tried to go under the bull gear in the rear end and broke or cracked the rear end housing. The reason I mention this is because I frequently see clutch fingers for sale on Internet sites that haven't been ground off. These could cause broken rear parts when installed in another tractor.
