M.M. Model 1400

247 made. Special motor 504A has turftied cam,different pump.heads, etc compared to regular 504. Some had the turbo. The 585 wan't ready do they modded the 504 to compete in market.
 
so the 1600 might be a better tractor ? the 1400 should be a good collector's item .
 
what is a decent price for each of these and which is more desirable, the 1400 or 1600.? what others used the 1600 engine?
 
We sold 2 of them. Both had the M & W turbo setup plus both had three point hitch and a PTO. Out of the total built not many had those 2 options.
 
1400 as less made. 1600 used 585 diesel same as G1355,2270 or G1350 or White 2-150 Several were repowered with 800 LP when the 585 had issues.
 
Think a good running 1400 should bring 10k. Know I wouldn't sell mine for less. A 1600 6 or 7 if motor decent. They are tough to move due to size. Plainsman more. Know of a 1600 with bad motor. 3k
