Not far from here. 1500$ if motor good. Under 1000$ if diesel motor weak. Remember hand clutch and no live pto.

Also depends on which "nowhere"! Lance and I both are within 100 miles of nowhere, but just the two of us would still constitute a pretty active marketplace!

I like either diesel or LP - but know some guys that wouldn't look twice at an LP tractor... I gave $1500 for a super nice LP G705 with a cab and good tires several years ago, but the market has softened some since then. I gave $300 for a diesel fence row carcass.

Paid $1200 for one that wasn't pretty and stuck. Got it loose and man does it start easy and pull like a bear. Would never trade it for a computerized piece of plastic.

is it a tractor jockey? that might explain the high price. they buy cheap and want 100-200 percent more.

What's the serial I got a nice stuck one for 750 and another for 500 by Dickinson but they are consecutive serial numbers. I'm happy to find stuff within 100 miles lol

I am 180 degrees from that viewpoint. LP is great, no expensive pumps to rebuild, fuel never goes bad. Crankcase oil is always clean. Always dependable to start. No wonder M-M stayed with it through 1975. Back in the day everyone is Wheat country converted gasoline tractors to LP. I would say 80% of the 21-32's were put on LP.

Some folks think understanding a regulator or the Ensign carb system is the mystery of the ages but they really are simple systems.

So ship all those undesirable LP Minnies to mejavascript:emoticon(':D')
