looks good alan, I am assuming the roller wheels will be on the back half and you'll roll the rear away from the front half, or a floor jack with wheels. thinking you might want to drill a second set of holes on that back stand frame lower down as a little extra margin of safety? along with the brace. I'm going to have to copy your design.

Yes, planning on a caster wheel on the back or might still go straight down with
an angle iron on each side. Havent decided yet on that. I was just trying out
the bent angle irons to see how they fit. We always blocked the front and moved
the rear in Vo-Tech. The rear is usually more stable as long as you have a
decent stand on it. The design is a make it up as you go lol. Actually turned
out well.

You need to put steel wheels under the front part! The guy I help and yes we still split a few MM's for a guy has 2 splitting stands and I just talked to him and he said too, don't build a set with out wheels and make them wider in case you want to split a narrow front tractor. My e-mail is open send me a reply and I will explain in more detail. J.

Im planning on putting the wheels on the back stand on the rear end and move the back away from the front. We always did them that way in Vo-Tech as the rear is more stable to move.

You want wheels on the front + you want to be able to roll both the front and the back. Send me an e-mail and I will explain it better. You need to adjust the stand for frame width as well. As was mentioned you need better braces in the front too.

I went to go tech too. I'd put wheels all the way around but it'll work fine either way. I use a trans jack for the back but that said my tranny jack is rated or 3000 lbs. Anything smaller than a 1066 int. It works great for.

This one is going to be used for basically the M series MMs and the U302s. The MMs with a side rail on each side of the engine can't use a regular stand that bolts to the rail as there would be no support without the brace bolted to the oil pan. That is where the weight has to be supported. Ive never used a front stand that had wheels.

Looks great Alan, I will have to add some pictures. Of my engine stands for Z engines
I really believe the homemade mounts are the best.
