M5 lpg problems

I have an m5 that recently developed some problems after replacing head gaskets. Has a rebuilt beam 120a regulator and an ensign carburetor. Now when running the last 100rpm or so (1400-1500) are choppy and it sounds like the machine is running out of fuel. I have adjusted both regulator and carburetor while running and cannnot remedy this. Any suggestions, what am I missing?

Thanks, Jake

(quoted from post at 18:46:00 12/12/17) Vacuum required to open diaphram. Leakage somewhere.

Have verified that we have vacuum and it is changing the tone of the engine when I apply / remove vacuum
