good evening all went to thorhild alberta today to pick up a d-300 4/16 plow, niel and his brother jeff run a antique farm equipment yard there with about 10 acres of farm equipment. they go out and clean up old farm yards, equipment in decent shape they fix up and sell, they used to sell the wrecked iron for scrap but scrap prices have hit the toilet here so they are focusing on the antique farm equipment restoring and selling. if any members here need any parts or whole antique equipment give niel or jeff a call at 780-512-8300 they even have an antique store on their place with lots of cool farm related antiques. if your looking for good used farm equipment or parts for yours give them a call.

their equipment is usually for sale on kiji alberta farm equipment and other catagorys as well check them out.
 
niel also found me 3 mm coulters for the d-300 that where missing, they have pallets of coulters with the arms and brackets to mount to almost every plow out there.
 
To get right parts there is a code on back of shares like R A6 R. IT THEN CROSSES TO A 219
617BS which is an Oliver number.

thank you gb. will bring the plow up to the shop and pull off the shares, shins and landsides and get the part numbers off them. the shins are worn right back past plow frame and paper thin. another fun project on the go :lol:

hankyou shinnery that is an 18 ft. precsion trailer built in Manitoba, iv'e had the trailer 5 years now, they build the best quality trailer iv'e ever had, the powder coating system they use for painting is tough! they use a kind of rhino rubber coating on every surface facing forward and then paint over that, no rust spots or rock chips anywhere, after pulling it through 4 winters now out plowing snow with my bobcat, through salt, sand and muck. pulls like it's not even there, you can raise and lower the back ramps with one hand no problem.
