where's the best place to get decals?

good evening guys, where is the best place to get decals for the m5's and the mm disc and plow. I found the m5 decal kits online at the decal shop, I'm also looking for the bigger decals for the 10 ft. disc. the biggest mm name decal that the decal shop has is 2" x 14" and the decal on the back of the disc is quite a bit bigger. another option I guess would be to use a letter stensil kit and spray the letters on. the large one on the back of the disc is a decal.
 
I agree with Doug about R-M Sales in Vale, Iowa. That family has their own collection of
about everything and publish the M-M Corresponder. The one for my M-602 that went on the
side of the Radiator was slanted and my original was vertical so was able to get that one
from Maple-Hunter Decals in Riley, Indiana. It seems that there was some variation on the
same Model of tractors maybe due to production date????

One thing to remember is they don't want to even sale them to you unless you are close to
being ready to put them on. Just a while after the paint is cured. Decals work better if
they are not old & dryed up & stored for a long time.cleddy
 
thank you guys, will check out R-M sales online and see what they have, I want to use the m5 decals red to get a color match for the cherry red for the hood pinstripping, wheel weights, the plow and disc.
 
a question cleddy, I want to put 2 coats of clear over the paint for protection, after the paint is cured do I put the decals on and then clear over them as well?
 
No put the decals on last. Do not clear coat over them. You will run into the chance of lifting them of
and ruin both the decal and your final coat on the tractor. If you really want to save your paint job
after you have restored adding more clear coats won't really build "shields" up. Keep it clean and keep it
indoors when not in use makes a difference.
