I shelled out the radiator on my '54 UBE a while back. The price to have it re-cored was way beyond my budget.
My son saw an ad for a used one out of a '38 UTS. The price was decent, but it's quite a ways away. Does anyone know if that radiator might fit?
Or does anyone have a good used one within driving range of southern Minnesota?
Thanks!

Would a non pressurized radiator work in the tractor if it physically fits , or will there be overheating problems? I thought the engines were basically the same otherwise.

Put a pressurized rad in older U. Had to notch hood for overflow tube. I think putting a
non would work if you changed rad cap and thermostat. Am thinking you will have to cut
hood or change as rad neck is bigger on older ones. It gets messy especially on old red
nose ones. 1938 won't work in a 40 and so on. Alot of it is due to top rad outlet
locations. Been down this path before. Better to stick to original if possible.

I'm still in need of one for my 38 UTS so if you end up not taking the one that your son located, please let me know where it is and any contact info for it if you don't take it, I might! Thanks

1938 to early 1940 used same rad on UTS. UT605A UTU used different rad. UT605 and UT605B Later UTS used UT605C.
