Hello again MM Folks! Well here the story, we just acquired a M602D and are in the learning curve of servicing it. We have the manuals on the way but I figured changing the filters would be straightforward. Fat chance. The oil filter internal can seems to be inflated so to speak. The end that slides over the oil pump fittings is not flat but rounded and the sides are slightly bulged. I found a pic online of one and it looks like it should be flat on the end. When installed it sits proud of the engine case by about 3/16" so does not look correct.
May be some parts/spring missing as well as when the can is installed and the filter over the oil pump fitting it will not reach the outside pump cover fitting. Any advice or pictures of system would be helpful until the manuals arrive. Just wanted to get it buttoned up but since Uncle Bumble has been here it don't look good

PS: Looks like the previous mechanic was filter challenged as when I opened the fuel filter can there was nothing in there, wonder whats in the hyd filter can? Old newspaper maybe
