M602-LP Propane valve leak

My M602 sat for over a year, and was out of propane when i tried to get it going again. I filed the tank to about 40%, recharged the battery and started working on it. There is gas leaking out of the vapor valve when I open it up. I assume the valve has to be replaced. Can anyone give me a clue as to the valve specs? Or how to repair it? And where can I get a new valve from?

They are a standard industry valve. Available from many LP suppliers. When you install it, be sure to use some Gasoila soft set thread sealer. It is specially formulated for use in the petroleum industry. Regular teflon thread sealers won't last as the gas eats it up and you'll eventually have another leak around the treads.

Use the Gasoila sealer.
