I was at Albany MN for a show and noticed several
different styles of fwa on G706 and G704.Im
lookinto buying either one and wanted to get the
right component.

The early FWA were Elwood. Moline switched to the Coleman during the 706 production. Clark front ends were used on the G1000 and newer tractors.

I don't think there were any issues with any of them. If you are looking for something to put on a tractor try to find out which one will fit and go with it.

Depending which model. Some had castings cut out for drop box and some didn't. Have a template for GV1 for cutout in casting. This for Elwood setup.

(quoted from post at 00:19:47 09/21/17) I think that the Coleman give the worst steering angle of all of them, but I may be wrong,

You are correct. The brakes help a little but not much usually just ends up sliding the inner tire when trying to brake turn.
