Great uncle Gus Bischoff had a set of front mount 4 row cultivators on his Z,and a shade
umbrella.i remember he plowed corn from dawn to dusk many a day , he puttered along thtu the
rows while i played in the yard ,.. and i wisht i coulda had a couple days of that z myself , but i
was too little ..not sure what that letter is,but its a nice lineup .

Very nice old Z. It looks great restored with the cultivator! I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the early Z's. That's probably why I have two of them. My grandfather bought one new in March of 1938 and it was his cultivating tractor for many years. Wish I knew where it ended up.
 
There was a Bischoff that was a partner in a dealership in Eden Valley MN.. Just recently saw a vintage picture of him in front of the Hopkins headquarters. Any connection?
