G705 to G708 inner rear wheel weights

I will be putting new rear tires in my G706 soon and have a question on wheel weights. All of the on line pictures I can find have the weights on the out side of the wheel. Mine has them on the inside of the rear wheel one huge round one on each side held on by two bolts with hardware thru the two large holes in each wheel. Anyone know what they weigh or if the have any value if I do not put them back on? The picture is not my tractor but it shows the wheel with the two holes open and no inner weight.

I will take a few pictures of mine but it is the same wheel with a roughly 7 or eight inch thick weight with no markings on it that is the same diameter as the inner opening on the rim.

My 705 has those on the inside of the wheel. At one time I was led to believe they were 400 lbs. each. As such, I'm happy right where they are!

Hey Curt- How's things? I have a pair of those inner weights, and I think they are around 700-750 lbs each, from what I can tell. Once I took them off of a G705 I bought, I never used them again.

I will have to weigh them when I get new tires. There are thick and look heavy as hell compared to the outer weights everyone runs.

Doing fine ToolZ. If I was younger, stronger and more ambitious, I chase after those weights. And they may be that heavy. Seems I may have read the numbers you mention but assumed that was for a pair but maybe they're each that heavy. I have found it difficult to get my 705 or my 97 heavy enough to pull big plows without excessive slippage.

I have my G705 weighted to about 10,500 with 23.1-26 rubber. I usually just plow with a 4 bottom since it's easier to haul, but no noticeable slippage.
