Chrome Headlight

What year did the chrome headlight rims demise? Am thinking 1941 on the 7 inch Guide. Only
one I ever have seen on U's and G's. Were they part of the add on electrical package?

My Jetstar 2 diesel has chrome rings also but I was talking the 7 inch Guide ones.

Just a guess!!! Chrome till the war. When chrome disappeared on everything. Then afterward the lights were all painted.

I have a 41 UTU that has the 7 inch guide chrome rings but one flat lens is cracked, can they be located anymore?

My 42 MM RTU had chrome head light rings when I picked it up. Cannot be certain they were original but they were very old.

The 7 inch flat lenses can be purchased from Seiner Tractor Parts for about $20.00.

Jd and Oliver used same headlights, not sure on chrome.

My 1939 RTU had chrome trim rings and I would agree that the chrome rings disappeared during WWII.
I do have available for sale new reproduction chrome trim rings and some used lights & lens.
